Mother of Year

I think my older sister nailed it ... as I was retelling her the events of our 4th of July weekend her comment to me was "so you are going to pick your 'Mother of Year' award now?". As I laughed I thought to myself I was hardly anywhere close to mother of the year.

Here I was with my son's 4th set of stitches ... 3rd time this year alone!!!

But now as I sit back and really think about the past 3 years with Levi I may not be the Mother of Year in everyone's eyes but I am one heck of mom and Levi is one heck of a kid. He has turned into an amazing little person and is most certainly all boy no doubt about it. He is fearless and strong willed and stands up for what he believes and makes me proud to be his mom every day. I wouldn't change a single thing about him.

So yes ... I am Mother of Year ... to at least the one person who it really matters to ... my son!
