What doesn't hurt them ....

I knew raising a child as a single mom would have its challenges. I also knew that raising a little boy without a "dad" in his life would be difficult. I am lucky that I have an amazing family that helps me out with all of the different challenges that I come across and I have a great brother in law and father that have been wonderful, strong, positive male role models in Levi's life.

Now ... those of you that know me now know that I am not a "girly girl" .. I don't

dress up in fancy dresses a lot or where a lot of makeup unless it is a special occasion. Well, Levi is going through a "dress up" phase. It started with simply a long t-shirt of his that he called his dress and this am he saw me put on a long shirt and he asked to put on a princess dress. His t-shirt wasn't good enough he said he needed a pink one. So I found a small tank top of mine and I pinned it up in the back for him. He twirled around the house shouting "princess power" and making the dress spin.

All the way to school he was asking me "Do I look pretty in my dress" ... and saying "I love my princess power". So today my son is the most beautiful princess in his pink dress and rain boots and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

If it doesn't hurt him ... is it worth worrying about ... nah!
