Once again nothing can ever stay the same ... or be easy for that matter. It's been awhile and there has been a lot of things that have happened. We thought we had found the perfect place for us to settle in and call home but unfortunately due to no fault of our own we had to move in March because the landlord decided to take our money and use it for other things besides the mortgage ... go figure. Luckily I have a great network and had a realtor on the horn in seconds and found out the unit just two floors below me was for rent and we moved two weeks later.
Levi still asks about the "upstairs" house and asks why we can't live there but we are really enjoying our new place and most importantly the new landlord seems like a good one!
2013 started off pretty rough for us with the move and the ending of relationships (which are hard enough on me but explaining to Levi why someone no longer comes around is a tough one). Tried to keep myself busy by judging several more cheer competitions than I typically do which helped reconnect with old friends and connect with new ones.
We did have a tough loss at the beginning of May. Our great cat Totter went to live with Jesus. He had been battling cancer for I am not sure how long but eventually I knew it was time to let him go. Levi was my buddy and stood strong for the both of us. My neighbor actually had to put his dog down the same day so we have gotten to know each other through support of that.
Now as we head into the summer I have a wild, full of attitude and love 4 year on my hands. Going to try out some Karate and most definitely will be at the pool a lot.
Have to keep reminding myself to just take it one day at a time and the people that are meant to be in my life will stay and those that aren't will leave and that is just life. Everything has a way of working itself out at the right time and patience is the key.
