Finding Prince Charming

Attempting to date for the first time in what seems like forever. It didn't seem this hard in college. I guess at 20 something marriage and the thought of the possibility of wanting additional kids wasn't at the forefront of my mind so perhaps there wasn't the same pressure so it made meeting people just more fun. Over the past several weeks I've learned a lot about not only dating in general but about dating with a kid and dating in my 30s.

1. I know my conversation about my son isn't the most interesting but I guarantee you it is more interesting than than a 38 -40 year old male discussing any of the following ... Dave Matthews, drinking until he passes out, hooking up with 20 somethings, Minecraft

2. Cancelling on me at the last minute (ie within 48 hrs) for any reason other than probably your kids will get you deleted from my existence. I barely have time to date being a single parent much less have time to book a sitter and then have your lame excuses book a date and then waste my time.

3. If you judge me after exchanging a few texts messages and seeing my FB page than you don't really know me and you never really wanted to so again don't waste my time.

So here's to the joys of dating at almost 36. Finding my prince charming (hahahahaha)
