This past weekend Levi woke up singing (this is typical for Levi) ... but what was special about this weekend was he was singing a new song. He was singing a song I had not heard him sing before. This particular song brought tears to my eyes as he sang ... "you are my sunshine, my only sunshine".
As an infant I would sing this song to him as he fell asleep in my arms and I even sang this to my nieces when they were very little. I had no idea he knew it or where he learned it.
When he was finished I could barely speak ... I was overcome with emotion. I asked him where he learned the song and he said "Ms Abigail" .. I said "I love Ms Abigail" ... and he said "I love Ms Abigail too Mommy".
I wish I could post the sound clip I recorded of him singing this song to me (it is now my ringtone on my phone). I have never heard anything so beautiful in my life.
