A Little Water ... A Lot of Love
Made it through the day. Levi was Baptized this morning. It was a wonderful service. I had about 25 members of my family there (which isnt even half haha) but a wonderful bunch. A big thanks for all the love and support.
I spoke to Levi about today a few times but I wasn't sure how he would do. He loved the music and the songs at the beginning. He sat quietly and listened and danced in his chair some. The opening song was really special today. They sang "I'll Fly Away" ... It's a really old hymn that they sang in a more bluegrass way but this song was played at my Grandmother funeral. So even though Grandmother could not be here with us today I know she was with us in spirit. (i didnt request this song the music director just picked it so that was a great coincidence)
After the music was Levi's big moment ... And he was great. He even let Dr Jody hold him and walk with him for a minute. I couldnt have asked for a better moment or a better service. He got a little restless during the sermon but for a 2 yr old I think he did well.
After service we went to a great little restaurant in Dunwoody called Allisons. All the family was able to visit and eat. All and all a great and successful day.
Plenty of pictures will be on facebook very soon.
